Austrian Pairs Championship at Stadl Paura
The Stadl Paura Equestrian Centre hosted a top-class Mounted Games weekend:
As part of the Austrian and Upper Austrian Pairs Championships, a total of 43 pairs competed.
At the same time, the tournament served as an important test event for the World Pairs 2027, already casting its shadow ahead.
The competitions in the U12, U15, and Open classes were firmly dominated by Upper Austria, while in the U18 category Lower Austria narrowly gained the upper hand – an exciting contest at eye level.
Throughout the weekend, spectators witnessed fast-paced races, high precision, and nearly faultless rides, highlighting the overall exceptional sporting standard.

Fair and competent judging was ensured by the international judges Patrick Montgomery, Bridget Scott, and Edoardo Bossi, whose experience significantly contributed to the quality of the event.

Conclusion & Outlook
The tournament in Stadl Paura once again demonstrated that Austria – and especially Upper Austria – plays a leading role in Mounted Games. The event was not only well organized but also a true sporting highlight. Looking ahead to the 2026 season, an extensive program is already set: International tournaments in Germany and France, the Austrian Team championship at Ponyhof Daneder, and the Individual championship once again in Stadl Paura promise an exciting year.
