EVENT DETAILS
We are so excited to invite you all to the 2026 IMGA European Team & Individual Championships at La Bonde!
We have lots of exciting plans for this year’s competition!
La Bonde has been the home of international competition for many years where it has hosted World and European Championships regularly.
With two large arenas and a campsite very close it really creates a family atmosphere and makes the arena feel electric!
Just three steps away from the arena you will find the cafe and bar and enjoy food and beverages whilst watching the competition.
Take just a few more steps and you will be upstairs in the VIP area where you can watch both arenas from above with the perfect view!
The Opening Ceremony
There is of course an opening ceremony where we plan to have great crowd participation! It is an amazing achievement for these riders and ponies to compete at a European Championship and we want to recognise that!
The Theme week & Gala Theme
We have a theme for the week which is chicken and banana! That’s all we will say for now!
But be prepared for lots of fun and entertainment! For the gala dinner the theme is a white party or chicken and banana! You can choose ;)
Bring your family!
We want this Competition to have a family feel to it, and as well as the high level competition also be oriented for the future of our sport!
There will be an area dedicated to kids for cinema, distraction and sugar rush during the competition!

Traveling from World Individuals to Europeans:
We have worked closely with Germany to help co-ordinate a timetable that allows riders to be able to attend both the world individuals at Luhmuhlen and the European Championships at La Bonde!
People may arrive from Monday but the competition for all will not start until Wednesday, and for the 18s & Open Individuals who finish last in Germany, they will not start until Thursday.
Tuesday is the day for training! Teams will train as their national teams all together, if your team has to arrive later on Tuesday please let us know and we can co-ordinate your training session to take place later in the day.
Email rory@strukevents.co.uk to arrange this.
The tack and vet checks will be very simple as we will co-ordinate them to happen before your training.
SENIOR CATEGORY
For our keen veterans La Bonde will host a senior category.
The Senior category (Open 40+) is available at an entry fee of €150. This category runs over two sessions held on Monday and Tuesday, followed by a final on Wednesday evening as part of the All Stars.
The registration includes competition entry, hay, and access to the venue for up to four accompanying persons, but does not include stabling.
Please note, this is not an official IMGA competition.
REFUND POLICY
No refunds will be issued after June 30, 2026.
For cancellations requested before June 30, the following cancellation fees will be retained, regardless of the reason:
• €5 for individual entries
