Guidance on Allowed Tack
SADDLES
Treeless saddles are now permitted under IMGA rules.
Saddles MUST have full length lateral base panels and a central gullet.
This means that here must be fitted panels under the full length of the saddle that give a channel
between the saddle and the pony’s spine.
The pads must be part of the saddle.
There must be clearance between the saddle and the pony’s back.
