For the first time in Mounted Games history, a team from Czechia took part at the IMGA European Team Championship.

Six U12 riders from Czechia competed at the ETIC 2026 in La Bonde.

We spoke to Czech Team Trainer Alžběta, how she experienced her first IMGA competition:

We had the best time!

I’d say it was just like being part of a family… Right from the start, Quentin (La Bonde) and all the IMGA representatives were there for us and did everything they could to help us achieve our goal: taking part in the Championships…

Then, throughout the week of competition, should any issues arise, there were always the other coaches, who were very kind to our newcomers.

That’s why our team, despite having no experience of major competitions, was able to compete without stress and improve with each session. Above all, we mustn’t forget that we were lucky enough to have very experienced ponies thanks to Le Picotin Riding Centre, our partner club since 2015, so I’d like to thank the instructors Arnaud and Julie for their long-term support.
